Reflections of Earth.

This is the Globe on it's way from storage to the center of the World Showcase lake getting ready for illuminations.

Beauty and the Beast.

This is probably my favorite show. This photo is not from the time when Chip fell over and had to be taken off stage. Then the show continued with Chip still singing, I think I probably realized that there may be a sound track running alongside the live singing. What else did I think, that Angela L was in the wings singing into a microphone for all 3294 consecutive shows?

Cone's are my life.

Today's Guest Photographer is Paula Hanna, she is the talented graphic designer who has created the cover's of Robin and My "Disney Diaries" books. I've not actually been to Cars Land in Disney's Californian Adventure. However, you might not know or believe, but I'm working as a car park attendant at the South Plains Fair. Paula bought me two cones to help me in my task of keeping out freeloaders who try to sneak in the exit of the car park. (Parking lot!!) The cones collapse and they are called on the box - Cones of Security. So I am want to shout out to those drivers who try to sneak in. DO NOT PASS THE CONES OF SECURITY. Now these Disneyland cones are the size I really need to keep them out.

MSEP

I love the Main Street Electrical Parade, I remember the first time I saw it the boys were aged 7 and 10 and they were blown away with it, we had not seen anything quite like this, it was I think our last night at Walt Disney World of our first trip. Certainly got us to come back for more.

Love this Iconic building. I've always enjoyed the ride too. Though I always prefer to ride it on the way out of Epcot, it sort of gives me a sit down and provides the time I need to find the energy to walk to the bus stop which always seem a loooooong way away at Epcot.

A little neon.

I've always liked the Great Movie Ride, it's got lots of great attributes. The clips in the waiting area are cool, the acting is so naff and who doesn't like the little munchkin singalong? Talking of lights, we have re-arranged the trip that we had to cancel this week to November, when the Osborn Lights will be in full flow. That's pretty good compensation for missing a trip, we are all pretty excited about seeing some of the Christmas decorations and fun.

Flags.

As we are a few moments away from September 11th. I thought I would simply post the flags from the American Adventure foyer.

Sleeping Beauty

I spent 14 hours working at the weekend on my many paid jobs, so yesterday I go the notion that I should take today off and go for a bike ride for some mental relaxation. However my body had other ideas, I just woke up at almost 11am, so I guess I needed some kip instead. Now to plan a much shorter bike ride.

A little nature for you.

One of the nice things about Animal Kingdom is you can pretend you are in nature. When I processed these photos I thought that the bamboo grove was taken on my trip to Japan in May but nope it's Animal Kingdom. See if you can spot the not so natural tree!

Animal Kingdom - Notazu

Actually despite what they say it's a pretty fine zoo. None of these photos had bars or glass between the animals or my camera. All of them seem well cared for there.

Disney Trip Postponed.

Sadly we have had to postpone our Trip to Disney this Saturday, so we have moved it to November. Unfortunately Robin has been as we say in Yorkshire, Poorly. We took advice from very wise people like this guy and decided that flying is out for a little while.

Mr Lincoln.

I thought that this was cool the inside of an anamatronic. We kind of take them for granted. There is some amazing engineering that goes on at Walt Disney Imagineering.

The countdown begins, 5 days to go.

Well we are rapidly marching towards our trip to WDW on Saturday, it's been two years since we went last. And I have the cheek to regard myself as an expert. Obviously one of my tasks will be to get a couple of nice shots for this blog. We start or first day in Epcot. Now you get to choose Fastpass+'s in advance you pretty much know where you will be during the trip. So much for my often stated "Planning is for wimps." So here's Mission Space for you, symbolizing my first park and the spirit of adventure flowing in my blood with five days to go.
