Price Eric's Castle

For all you Ariel and Prince Eric fans, here is Prince Eric's Castle. Very nautical yet not that close to the sea out in Fantasyland here in sunny Orlando.

Everyone loves a parade.

One of my favourite things is to sit back and enjoy the parade. I also am pretty fond of buses too, so here I'm killing two birds with one stone, right outside the castle at WDW.

Colorful Castle.

Here is another nice shot of the Castle during the firework show Wishes. Lots of great colors projected on Cinderella's Castle mirrored by the fireworks.

The Castle Looms Over Liberty Square.

I really like the angle of this shot of the Castle. It is towering over Liberty Square, it looks very real to me like we are looking at some German Schloss towering over the village bellow.

This might be my favorite photo I've ever taken of the Castle.

I really like the way that this shot came out. It's the castle during Wishes last Christmas. I like it because the fire works look different some how. I love the smoke and the firework trails crossing above the castle. Anyone who has tried will tell you that taking a good shot of the fireworks at the castle is quite tricky. I think I took about 50 that night of the castle and the fireworks and probably three are any good. So moral of the tale is, click away, you'll find some good ones in there!

End of the Show.

Well Mickey certainly arranged a great end to his show at the Castle. After all those Princes and Princesses there had to be fireworks. Well just nine days to our next trip. I'm trying to figure out the best way to make Photographing Disney Live during the 9 days we are there. So you guys can join us in the excitement of our trip. I'm planning to have fun first of all, but also to get some great shots for the next year of the blog. Time to think about, thinking about packing!

Cinderellas Castle

Let's face it you can't have too many photos of the castle. This is one of my favourite angles to photo the castle from, it's from the bridge from the hub to Liberty Square. It's great as you don't get people in the shot too much.

A sunny show at the castle.

It's marvelous getting to watch so many people have fun watching Mickey and Minnie put on a show in front of the castle. Gotta love a sunny summer's day. (Having said that, this photo was taken in November lol.)

Advent Calendar Day Two.

For Day Two and our 100th Post on Photographing Disney I thought I should go for something rather nice. Here is the Castle in it's Christmas Finest.

Enjoying the Show.

This little girl on her daddy's back was really enjoying the Castle Show today and getting a comfy seat and great view too.

Had a great day today in the Magic Kingdom, it's five in the morning so I'm way too tired to tell you all about it.

I've always thought that Sleeping Beauty's Castle at Disneyland Paris is perhaps the prettiest of them all. I've still got the one in Hong Kong to check out, but of the four I've seen I like it the best.

3 for the price of 1.

I'm probably giving away too much information here. I spent an hour or so last night playing around with a program called Lightroom made by Adobe. It's very good at painting with light. These photos look pretty similar apart from the colours. That's because they are the same photo. I think it shows that saying "the camera never lies" should have "but the photo processor does" added afterwards.

Cinderella's Castle in Tokyo.

Welcome to Cinderella's Castle at Tokyo Disneyland, it's very much the same as the castle at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. This icon gives the Japanese park a similar feel to the Magic Kingdom, though it's laid out a little differently. You still get a buzz walking down towards the castle even if you are sort of indoors.
