This might be my favorite photo I've ever taken of the Castle.

I really like the way that this shot came out. It's the castle during Wishes last Christmas. I like it because the fire works look different some how. I love the smoke and the firework trails crossing above the castle. Anyone who has tried will tell you that taking a good shot of the fireworks at the castle is quite tricky. I think I took about 50 that night of the castle and the fireworks and probably three are any good. So moral of the tale is, click away, you'll find some good ones in there!

End of the Show.

Well Mickey certainly arranged a great end to his show at the Castle. After all those Princes and Princesses there had to be fireworks. Well just nine days to our next trip. I'm trying to figure out the best way to make Photographing Disney Live during the 9 days we are there. So you guys can join us in the excitement of our trip. I'm planning to have fun first of all, but also to get some great shots for the next year of the blog. Time to think about, thinking about packing!

Less than two weeks to the trip to WDW.

I've learnt not to count my chickens about Disney trips. We had to cancel a trip at short notice last year and postpone it for a couple of months. Hopefully we are good to go a week on Saturday. We are flying there via Las Vegas, where we are scheduled to be about twenty minutes. Las Vegas is of course in totally the wrong direction for Orlando but hey. I like flying so no problem. I'm going to take a quarter for a slot machine, maybe I will win the $1 million jackpot at the Airport. Which unlike any other airport is full of slot machines. Well it is Vegas after all. Then we fly onto Orlando and WDW. The thing I like about WDW is it's capacity to make you forget the real world. So for nine days, I'm going to forget my job, my problems and the fact I lost 25c on a wild gambling spree in Vegas. I might buy a Mickey Chocolate Apple. This is how they make them by the way.

Balloons.

I always love the balloon sellers on Main Street USA. Nice to see them making people happy and doing a roaring trade. The balloons have changed over the years. Now Frozen Balloons probably outsell Mickey and Minnie, but who cares if everyone is having fun.

Main Street USA

I don't know about you, but when I see photographs like this one, I just want to go to Disneyworld, or land, I don't mind. It's my Happy Place, only yesterday, two people were having an argument and I was sat between them. I imagined that I was riding on the horse drawn tram down Main Street USA. Fortunately I get to go there in 54 days. Yippee.

A sunny show at the castle.

It's marvelous getting to watch so many people have fun watching Mickey and Minnie put on a show in front of the castle. Gotta love a sunny summer's day. (Having said that, this photo was taken in November lol.)

Want to buy a balloon?

I always wonder how much trouble the poor old balloon seller would get if they tripped or something and let them fly away. I can imagine me doing it if I were a Cast Member, probably I'd better find a job suited to my rather clumsy talents.
