Osborne Lights at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Sadly this year is the last year for the Osborne Lights at Disney's Hollywood Studios. If you get a chance to go and see them before the end of the year you should. It's a great show and it will put you in a very Christmas'y mood. The are is part of the new Star Wars redevelopment. It's just a shame they can't find another area to put them in. I'll post a few photos of the lights as we get nearer Christmas. We never did get our September Trip due to un-forseen circumstances, so we have re-booked for the end of January/early Feb. So not too long to go now. Then I can take a whole new bunch of photographs for this blog. Cheers Larry.

New Head of Security appointed at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

There's a new Sheriff in town at the Disney's Hollywood Studios, A certain Mr D Vader. Rumor has it that it's a long time on a Detention Planet for anyone caught calling the theme park, MGM Studios!!!

Beauty and the Beast.

This is probably my favorite show. This photo is not from the time when Chip fell over and had to be taken off stage. Then the show continued with Chip still singing, I think I probably realized that there may be a sound track running alongside the live singing. What else did I think, that Angela L was in the wings singing into a microphone for all 3294 consecutive shows?

A little neon.

I've always liked the Great Movie Ride, it's got lots of great attributes. The clips in the waiting area are cool, the acting is so naff and who doesn't like the little munchkin singalong? Talking of lights, we have re-arranged the trip that we had to cancel this week to November, when the Osborn Lights will be in full flow. That's pretty good compensation for missing a trip, we are all pretty excited about seeing some of the Christmas decorations and fun.

Bye Bye American Idol Experience.

This is our nephew John at the American Idol Experience in 2012. He did fantastic in his show and made us all proud. Sadly he can't do it again as the show closes for good today. No word yet on what will replace it. It leaves DHS a little light on entertainment for the next wee while. I would have gone to see the show a couple of times on our trip starting next Saturday. I guess I'll just have to go see British Revolution more often instead.

Spooky old ToT.

I have mentioned before just how much I really love the Tower of Terror, it's themeing is really great. I like the spooky things at WDW like the Haunted Mansion and the Tower of Terror. I thought this photo was a little more spookier than most I have taken. On a personal note we got our first Magic Bands yesterday just over three weeks to our next trip. I think my wife is worried now that I have started this blog I'll just take photos the whole time, she need not worry too much I'll find time to ride the Tower of Terror for sure!

Tower of Terror.

Now I've said before that the Tower of Terror is my favorite ride and it's true. However, I really don't like the shape of the newer versions in California, Paris and this one in Tokyo. What's with all the sticky out bits at the top. It looks like a hammer headed shark! I guess its to hold ride mechanism. I just don't know of any buildings that are that shape from that era. Still love the themeing and the rides though.

I think the Tower of Terror is my favorite attraction more because of the way cool theme rather than the ride itself, though that's pretty neat too.

Welcome to my new blog - Photographing Disney.

Those of you who know me, know that I basically love both Disney and Photography, so I thought that it would be fun to create a blog combining the two. Which I'm calling Photograping Disney. Can you see what I did there, it's all in the title. Anyway, welcome, I hope you enjoy the photos and that it brings back memories for you of your trips there. Cheers Larry.
